In an inspiring effort to promote peace, unity, and nonviolence, Arrow Youth Leadership Council International, International Youth Peace Group, and partner agencies are proud to announce the "Play4PeaceATL" initiative, a dynamic series of monthly anti-violence events leading up to the highly anticipated Family Peace Festival in June 2025. These events highlight partner agencies committed to fostering peace and creating safe, thriving communities.

January 2025
Critical Community Conversation with our local Mayors
Engage in a powerful discussion about fostering peace in our neighborhoods. This intergenerational dialogue will explore actionable strategies and shared visions for building safer, more unified communities.

Sneaker Ball

This event is focused on unity and leadership. Enjoy inspiring speakers and activities and network to promote a harmonious future.
Middle and High school students are invited to dress in their best sneakers and enjoy an evening of dancing and fellowship after learning how to cultivate and maintain healthy relationships.

Playing for Peace
Students will participate in an exciting e-sports tournament hosted by Morehouse College
gaming clubs, using gaming as a platform to encourage collaboration and camaraderie with
civility.

April 7-11, 2025
Peace Avengers College and Career Tour
Participants will tour Georgia Tech, Georgia State, Day Local Farm, and Microsoft Corporate training highlighting educational and career pathways in technology and innovation, and agriculture.


June 6 – 8, 2025
Family Peace Festival
Location: TBD
This vibrant, 3-day celebration will bring together families and community members for a weekend of activities focused on Play4PeaceATL.
o Friday: A live concert showcasing local musicians, hip-hop artists, and student-created anti-violence artwork.
o Saturday: Peace Walk followed by workshops on conflict resolution, mental health, financial wellness, and youth empowerment.
o Sunday: A Day of Peace with faith-based organizations encouraging peaceful interactions in various houses of worship, culminating in a community-wide peace pledge and flag football games for all ages.
