I will not become a #hashtag!
I was given the opportunity to have an empowerment session. We discussed police brutality, our image as the Black community, and why our Black lives really do matter. At the end of the session, the youth were able to create their own signs to send out a positive message to people worldwide. In the moment of so many injustices, we as youth must rise up and combat negativity with positivity. We must also continue to empower one another to stay together as the Black community. Black lives really do matter. This video is brought to you by ambassadors ( Teryn D. Shipman, Daisha T. Jackson, and Ashley Edgar) of The South Fulton Arrow Youth Council. Bullseye Academy is an entity of The South Fulton Arrow Youth Council. For more information about the Arrows visit: http://thesfayc.org/ We do not own any of the rights to "A Change is Gonna Come."
